Local IWRM in Nam Dinh

Research in Nam Dinh focuses on the handicraft village Tong Xa (Yen Xa commune, Y Yen district) and the provincial capital Nam Dinh. Significant problems are caused by the pollution of water due to farming, households and industry, floods and saltwater infiltration. Especially the discharge of wastewater by the metalworking industry is an important problem.
