IWRM-concept for Hoa Bac


The situation analysis has been started and the following investigations are currently being carried out:

  •  Monitoring of groundwater and surface water quality and quantity
  •  Land use mapping by use of remote sensing
  •  Household survey for the analysis of the socio-economic situation
 

Investigation of a well in Hoa Bac

 

Implementation of selected measures


The design of a central water supply system covering more than half of the population of Hoa Bac is completed and approved. Construction will be completed in 2008. The water supply system will use surface water that will be filtrated and disinfected and distributed in a pipe system to households.
